KAZARI Bonsai Display Competition

The KAZARI: Bonsai Display Competition is a judged competition that focuses on the creation of a harmonious display of hanging scroll, bonsai tree, and an adjacent plant or stone to display in a tokonoma alcove. The prize money for the best displays awarded in honor of the contributions of Japanese-American citizens is $2,500 for first place, $1,000 for second place, and $500 for third place.
